Directed by Aleks Lewandowski It's a typical day in the life of the
Deathwish gang. The sessions and locations were influenced by gangs,
Hollywood, and Los Angeles culture. It wasn't much of a stretch because
skate crews can be very gang-like to begin with. The Deathwish dudes are
a tight-knit crew. Overall, I don't think this is too far from what
these guys are actually like. It's really close to the truth. You
wouldn't be surprised if you saw Jon Dickson on the beach asleep in the

The DGK team traveled the world for years in pursuit of the perfect
clips at the perfect spots to go into Parental Advisory. Given the
level of talent on the team and the amount of time they spent on this
project, it's no surprise that there is a ton of footage that did not
make it into the video. Of course we had no intention of letting
anything go to waste or get lost on the cutting room floor, so we've
decided to release all of the unseen footage in the form of bonus
montages for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy these Parental Advisory extras
from the West Coast.

WTF tricks part 2 is a follow-up to my popular video WTF flat ground
tricks. This footage was filmed with a Redlake N3 high speed camera at
1,000 frames per second. Since these are uncommon tricks some of them
don't have well-defined names, but here is what I call them. Let me
know if you know of a better name for any of them.
The posse was Jimmy, Jamie, Marius, Nick, and myself.
We covered some good ground and had the utmost hospitality from a bunch
of good mates. The trip consisted of good weather, good spots, good
barbecues and good times.

As a pioneer of the skate industry FTC
has seen many changes over its nearly 30 year existence, from eclectic
choice of dress to the progression into an increasingly technical sport.
What has remained a constant however, dating back to the days of the
original Z-Boys, is the younger generation’s raw, untainted passion for
the action sport and ability to compete with their post-puberty
comrades. To show some much deserve respect to the young guns of the
sport, FTC recently put together a team of adolescent riders dubbing
them the Young Bucks. Filmed and edited by Sam Chao, the San
Francisco-based brand presents its second session video with the Young
Bucks crew featuring skaters (in order of appearance): Kallen Matlock,
Nico Hiraga, Tafari Whitter, Jonathan Wells, Max Otake, Darnell Coleman,
Ian Elsasser, Josh Fajardo, Matt Dodge, Angel, Keita Wilson, Sam Chao,
Desmond Billie, Danny Cusulos, Dean Cusulos, Eric Alford and Joel Misner.
Trickipedia is not a Trick Tips section, but that doesn't mean you're
not going to learn. Trickipedia is the general education page for
skateboarding tricks started by the Berrics so that future generations
understand the difference between frontside and backside and that there
is no such thing as switch nollie half cabs. Each week one of
Skateboarding's best will help fill Trickipedia's pages until it is the
most comprehensive reference work on the planet. This week Paul
Rodriguez revisits nollie hardflips - this time in HD. Check out the
original version handled by Felipe Gustavo back on September 14th, 2010.
