Jake Brown lands first ollie 720 in Skate Big Air at X Games, Foz Do Iguacu, 2013.

Many in the skateboarding community remember Australian skateboarder Jake Brown for his horrific body-slam from 47 feet during an X Games Big Air Skateboard competition in 2007. After Thursday night at X Games Foz in Brazil, Brown might become better known for his ollie 720, a double-rotation, no-handed aerial—the first ever landed in any skate discipline.
Brown scored a 24 out of 25 points for the trick in the big air competition. Some wondered why it wasn’t scored a perfect 25. Brown wound up settling for bronze, and making history. Here’s a look at his historic trick.
